Quality Assurance

Checked where a problem can still be fixed.

Inspecting only at the end tells you what went wrong after it is too late to correct. Our checks sit at the points in production where an issue can still be caught and put right — on incoming material, during machining, at finishing, at assembly and again at packing.

What Gets Checked

Seven checkpoints on a single product.

Each one exists because it is a place where a batch can drift from the approved sample.
  1. 1MaterialBase metal checked on receipt, before release to production.
  2. 2DimensionsLength, diameter, projection and fixing centres verified to drawing.
  3. 3Surface finishCompared against the approved physical finish sample.
  4. 4AssemblySets checked complete — handles, roses, escutcheons, spindles, fixings.
  5. 5FastenersScrews and bolts checked for size, finish match and count.
  6. 6FunctionLever return, bolt travel and turn-and-release operated and confirmed.
  7. 7PackingInner box counts, labelling, barcodes and carton marking reconciled.

Inspection Sequence

From incoming material to dispatch approval.

An order is released only once the packing list, quantities and approved samples have been reconciled against each other.
  1. 01

    Raw-Material Inspection

Incoming base metal is checked before it is released to production. Material grades supplied are confirmed per product and per order.

  2. 02

    Dimensional Verification

Key dimensions — handle length, rose diameter, projection, spindle size, fixing centres — are measured against the approved drawing during production.

  3. 03

    Surface-Finish Inspection

Finished components are compared against the approved physical finish sample. This is the check that keeps a project's later phases matching its first.

  4. 04

    Assembly Checking

Assembled sets are checked for completeness — handles, roses, escutcheons, spindles and fixings — before they move to function testing.

  5. 05

    Functional Testing

Moving items are operated to confirm the action is correct: lever return, bolt travel, catch engagement and turn-and-release function.

  6. 06

    Packing Inspection

Packing is checked against the packing list, including inner box counts, labelling, barcodes and carton marking for export consignments.

  7. 07

    Batch Identification

Production batches are identified so that a query raised months later can be traced back to a specific run and finish reference.

  8. 08

    Final Dispatch Approval

An order is released for dispatch only after the packing list, quantities and approved samples have been reconciled.

Testing & Documentation

What we can document.

Testing and compliance documents are provided according to product type and buyer requirements.

We do not display ISO, BIS, CE, UL, ANSI, EN or fire-rating badges. Publishing a certification mark that has not been obtained is misleading, and any serious buyer will ask for the certificate itself. Tell us what your market requires and we will confirm what can be arranged.

  • Material Certificates

Provided for the base metal supplied, subject to product and order.

  • Plating-Thickness Records

Recorded for plated finishes where the buyer requires documentation.

  • Salt-Spray Testing

Arranged through an external laboratory when specified by the buyer.

  • Cycle Testing

Arranged for operating products where the buyer's market requires it.

  • Load Testing

Arranged for brackets and pull handles where a load figure must be documented.

  • Applicable Standards

BIS or international standards are confirmed per product before any claim is made.

To confirmAny certifications the company does hold, and any test reports available, must be confirmed before this section is finalised.

Vendor Onboarding
